Love supporting local and the clucking hen is as local as it gets in Cape Breton. We had the lobster roll which was overflowing with lobster 22 and the 2 piece fish chips was great with perfectly done fries 18. Also, dont forget the fresh homemade bakery items we had the butter tart and blondie.

The Double D burger with their bacon jam was probably the best burger Ive ever had! Fresh, juicy, hot, and a wonderful taste! We went back the next day for breakfast with was just as good. Very happy we decided to stop in for a bite. If we ever head back this way again we will definitely stop in!

We didnt really dine in but we just went for some pastries and they were really good. I am a baker myself but I was quite impressed with the delicious chocolate macaroons, the morning glory cupcake and the blondies!
